I'd find another source. It's clearly written to be antagonistic, and it misstates the nature of Eastern Orthodox communion, which is explicitly understood by believers to be the body and blood of Christ--the epiclesis makes that clear. It was obviously written by someone with an incomplete understanding of what they were writing about.

It's correct about the use of leavened bread, though. The photo shows the pieces of bread during the preparation by the priest, which takes place on the altar, behind the iconostasis. It will then be placed in the chalice with the wine, and the bread and wine combination will be given to each communicant on a silver spoon, placed directly in the mouth.
