@hazardwarning Back before the Internet, I used to go out to the garage late at night and tune in stations from around the world on my shortwave radio. Radio Moscow, Radio Nederland Wereldomroep, Deutsche Welle, and of course the BBC. Occasionally I'd pick up Beijing. The world was a much bigger place then.
