@matigo There's a niche market of JDM enthusiasts and collectors here, so I suspect that when something vintage is likely to finally fail the Shaken inspection, it gets put up for sale and shipped Stateside. California has a 30-year rule for smog inspection exemption, so it probably dovetails nicely for the well-maintained stuff.
