The straps I use generally fall into the following categories:

  1. Canvas straps (for summer and hot weather)
  2. Nylon straps, also known as NATO straps, for when I'm around water (the design is such that if a spring bar goes, the watch head stays put and doesn't get lost)
  3. Stainless steel bracelets (on a couple of watches, including the only one with an integral bracelet)
  4. Leather straps for cooler weather

Changing them can be kind of a pain, but spring bar tools help, and I've acquired several with quick-change built-in spring bars, which are the greatest invention since sliced bread.
