I'm already doing it¹; you just haven't noticed. The difference is that now I won't have to manually copy and paste when posting to my primary account.
There is crossposting done right, and crossposting done sloppily. Jason has done it right by only sending over notifications of new blog posts/podcasts and original posts.
By doing it right, he's making it possible for me to selectively send posts to my primary account, instead of blasting everything to a secondary account via IFTTT in order not to annoy my Twitter followers on my primary account.

And no, I have no plans or desire to crosspost in the other direction.
