Otherwise decent day ended with me missing a meeting with the department head because I thought she was out of the office today. Oh, well.

@feorlen Ageism is a thing. Even as a male, I'm aware that my grey hair and beard aren't necessarily doing me any favors in the work sphere. The thought of having to look for work and change jobs in my fifties is frankly terrifying. I don't know what the answer is, other than shaving my beard off (which my wife is against) and dying my hair brown (which I've always sworn never to do).
