Someday they'll finally achieve automated translation that doesn't produce gibberish.

@kdfrawg Having a ton of work has been helpful in getting through the last week.

No offense to my Canadian friends, who know how much I like their country, but one wonders just who an Italian diplomat has to piss off to get posted to Regina, Saskatchewan.

I have somehow dug my way out of the pile of work I had this morning, and may actually leave the office on time today.

Just remember that it just sends regular SMS unless you're communicating with another Signal user.

An idea that I can't seem to shake:

Someday, years from now, when Chinese historians are writing the definitive history of the final years of the United States, the names of Giuliani, Gingrich, and Bannon will be mentioned in the same context, and for the same reasons, as the names Goebbels, Speer, Bormann, and Ribbentrop.

It is. One of the advantages of being a local is that I know where the locals eat. :-)

Since Hillary didn't win and the taco trucks didn't show up on every corner like Trump promised, I had to go out and get my own.

@japchap I made my feelings about that idea pretty clear in my last blog post. [blog.larryanderson.org]
