@matigo You can cherry-pick examples to fit any narrative you like. The U.S. has a long history of unfortunate behavior and interference in other countries' internal affairs, but it does no good to see nefarious intent where none exists. Much of the country has a history of clean elections. Some places don't. We need to fix what's wrong and leave the rest alone. Bringing foreign observers to, say, Santa Barbara wouldn't accomplish a damn thing. Putting federal observers in Mississippi would accomplish a hell of a lot.
