@skematica I wrote a similar letter when I left the Baha'is. I'm good at burning bridges, apparently. :-)
@gtwilson Yesterday I was so busy at the office I never got my second cup of coffee.
@skematica Probably not well. It's a small parish, and I intentionally addressed it to the parish council and not the priest. He has some issues, and is part of what drove me off. He'll probably be upset that I didn't send it to him, but my attitude is that his ego isn't my problem any more. It was a respectful letter, so I've done my bit to keep things pleasant.
Given USPS delivery times, my church resignation letter should be received this evening when they show up for vespers. Should be interesting.
