@ukhaiku I'm a language buff, and having studied French, German, and Russian academically, I was enchanted by the notion of a language with absolutely regular grammar and spelling. It is not perfect, and can justifiably be called Eurocentric, but it's the most successful and persistent constructed language in history, which says something. It's also pretty easy to learn for those of us who already speak a European language.
@ukhaiku Watched it and loved it. I was in Germany (both of them) in 1981 and 1985, and they nailed the atmosphere and everything else from that time perfectly.
Doing my level best to confuse myself by doing both Spanish and Esperanto on Duolingo.
Which reminds me, gotta reactivate my Esperanto keyboard on the iPhone…
