@jextxadore Anybody who's fussy about audio quality is unlikely to be listening to music digitally. My whining about the removal has more to do with the fact that I regularly use wired headphones while charging, since my car doesn't have Bluetooth.

@kdfrawg With respect to updates, note that Nexus devices receive them directly from Google. I wouldn't even consider buying an Android phone that wasn't a Nexus (and I have a Samsung S6 as a work phone, so I do have some experience on that side of things).
