@streakmachine I learned that early. My best friend in elementary school was half-Swedish and half-Hawaiian (and this was a 99% white/Anglo neighborhood).

@streakmachine I watched both seasons of the Norwegian series Okkupert, and I loved that the wife of one of the main characters, who herself was a judge in Oslo, was played by someone of African descent. And her ethnicity never came up once.
