Well, you're here now. :-)

Hello!

This post has been brought to you by Coffee, The Miracle Beverageā„¢.

I was a witness in an armed robbery case once, back when I was around 20. Two guys came in and robbed the restaurant where I was working at the time, waving guns around. A few weeks later, I was subpoenaed to come pick one of the perps out of a lineup. Some time after that, I was subpoenaed to appear in court as a witness.

The court part of it was pretty simple. I was kept in a room to the side until my testimony was required. After I swore to tell the truth, the district attorney (probably the Crown Counsel up there) cross-examined me, then the defense attorney did the same. I was asked if the man I witnessed was in court, and was asked to point to him. That was about it. The preparation for it took longer than the actual testimony.

I got a call about a week later from the DA to let me know the guy was convicted and sentenced. They never did catch his partner.

An example of my favorite Maserati of all time is for sale. They look even better in dark blue, but red is very traditional.

Their corporate name is just one letter away from changing the meaning of that sentence in a radical fashion.

Been there. Didn't get the T-shirt, however. :-)
