My second-level manager brought in fresh pumpkin scones, and I regret nothing.
@phoneboy Yep. Ballmer sure cost MS a hell of a lot of money with that acquisition.

@joeo10 The devs that were on the platform were great. Shannon Whitley's ADN app was the best ADN app I used on any platform (and I'm one of the few ADN users who was a beta tester on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone).
// @phoneboy @indigo
@indigo It would have been nice. I did my part--I bought three of them--but in the end, the lack of apps (or the perception of a lack) killed it.
// @phoneboy @joeo10
@phoneboy I think everyone including MS knew it was dead the moment that Satya Nadella wrote off the Nokia acquisition…

@joeo10 Windows Phone was and remains my favorite mobile OS. It will always be a "what might have been if Microsoft had gotten into mobile earlier."
@hybotics Rent-to-own is almost always a bad deal, as you end up paying much more than retail price in the end. I'd advise getting the Chromebook if that will work as an interim solution for what you need.

@phoneboy Makes sense to me. Nothing screws up my BG more than being sick and getting vaccinated. Good news is that it's temporary.

@phoneboy We're getting one next year here in Ventura/Santa Barbara counties, 820. And Los Angeles has been a patchwork for years with 213/310/323/818/747 ad nauseum.
