@kdfrawg Exactly.

//

@kdfrawg There is someone who potters around Ventura in a federalized CX Prestige, and I am insanely jealous.

//

@kdfrawg I would have one (or something like it) if I lived where I needed one (e.g., somewhere where it snowed a lot or the roads were crap). But living in the fully paved glory of the World's Best Climate™ it's hard for me to justify.

//

I still maintain the best-riding and most comfortable car I've ever been in was a Citroën CX, and that includes my grandmother's 1965 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

// @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg They're thick on the ground here in the town where I work, along with Escalades, various Mercedes SUVs, the Jaguar F-Pace, Lexuses, etc. I wouldn't have any of them, but I suppose you never know when you're going to have to negotiate a 70-degree incline in a snowstorm on your way to picking up the kids at school in <generic California suburb>. ;-)

//

It's a truck (lorry, if you prefer) <shrug>. One cannot expect a truck to be a car, although the Range Rover does a passable imitation.

// @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg You, sir, are a man of impeccable taste and style. :-)

@kdfrawg Oh look, it's been owned by an open-source organization for about fifteen seconds and it's already acting up:

I already canceled my Pocket subscription anyway, since Pinboard does what I need, and for less money.
