@kdfrawg About the only time I see it is if I drive down to the IKEA in Burbank. Oh, and also in Solvang, of course.

@kdfrawg I used to think the same thing, but for me, drinking nothing but water, tea and coffee got old fast.

@kdfrawg My family always has leg of lamb for Easter dinner, cooked according to my grandfather's recipe, which he got from a chef in Chicago.

@feorlen Sucralose is not a perfect replacement for sugar. As you allude to, it does not thicken nor does it caramelize to provide browning. If you aren't diabetic or overweight, there's no reason to use it. For me, though, sugar is medically contraindicated, so compromises have to be made.

@joanna No, equal parts oats to liquid. I ate it cold, like muesli, but you could heat it up.
@indigo It doesn't taste exactly like sugar to me, but it doesn't taste bad either, unlike saccharin and aspartame. When I found out that I was diabetic, I tried the various substitutes and settled on sucralose.

@indigo As far as I'm concerned, sucralose is a gift from God, and I've actually come to prefer unsweetened soymilk. But everyone is different.
