Too much car, not enough driver.

Holy crap, the Field Poll is shutting down. It's been a fixture in California for decades.

There's more in the back that you can't see in this shot. It's a long, narrow piece of real estate that's right next to US 101.

Was filling up the car this morning on the way to work, and noticed that someone built a Ferrari dealership while I wasn't looking. This wasn't there a few weeks ago.

Confirmed: Friend Mina Abadir and his family are all safe following the cathedral bombing in Cairo (they're Copts).

Congratulations!

@kdfrawg No matter. I like going to the office every day. Helps keep separation between work and home. I have no desire to be working or on call 24 hours a day.

//

I like the idea of saving gasoline (I'm 30 miles from the office), but I'd miss the docking station, dual 22-inch monitors, and expensive ergonomic chair at the office. Multiple spreadsheets are no fun on a 14-inch laptop. They're barely tolerable as it is. :-)

I could probably "work from home," but I actually like coming to the office. I think I'm doing it wrong.

People who "work from home" and then don't answer their goddamn emails.
