People are funny. There is a particular Seiko dive watch (a very nice one) that I once saw someone rip to shreds because Seiko put the lume dot on the seconds hand in a place they didn't approve of. It's silly.

Pretty sure that's also true of the "enthusiasts" on every forum known to mankind. I see the same thing on the watch-collector forums I frequent.

I deleted my MB account a while ago, after it became clear that Manton has no interest in anyone who uses anything other than Macs and iPhones. Which is fine--it's his playground, after all. But I see no point to wasting my own time with it.
