@kdfrawg If you like what you have, there is no point in changing anything.

//

We just moved our facilities management functions back in-house, and it's showing results. I just got one of the two office coffee machines fixed in less than an hour.

@kdfrawg If you have a big display and alternate keyboard, there's no reason to use the strip as far as I can tell. Unless you want to look away from the screen, or type emojis. Meh.

//

It feels gimmicky to me. Certainly not something that would tempt me back to the Appleverse.

The non-collapsible steering columns would have impaled you through the heart before you went through the windshield, so it's all good.

// @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg It might. I always thought Apple was missing the boat with the Air by not making it LTE-capable. That would truly differentiate it from the other MacBooks, and give a reason to call it an Air.

//

@kdfrawg I'm guessing the Air is a dead man walking.

//

@kdfrawg There is an updated MacBook Pro, which replaces the function keys with a touch-based strip. No new iMacs or Mac Pros. Oh, and there's something new with Apple TV, which I do not own (nor will I).

//

@kdfrawg Good call. I'm just looking at the Verge's live stream for the snark. :-)

This is the least interesting Apple event since the introduction of the iPod Hi-Fi.
