The Fit is a marvel of packaging efficiency, especially the design of the rear seats.

@kdfrawg There are differences in body panels, interior design, dashboard, seats, etc., so it very well may feel subjectively roomier. There can be a lot of variation in platform-mates.

@kdfrawg The C30 is Focus-based (it was developed when Ford owned Volvo), so it's the same size class as the Civic.

@kdfrawg My Honda Fit saved my life, so I have no complaints. Would have bought another except the Fit was a bit small for my needs, and I didn't like the bi-level instrument cluster in the then-current Civic.

Hondas are good cars. My wife has one, and I had one until it was totaled by a driver running a red light. But it ain't an Aston Martin. :-)

There are reasons to buy a hybrid or a pure electric vehicle, but financial reasons are not among them. I have yet to see a study that shows any financial benefit to owning one, and anything with 177K is going to be pretty fully depreciated unless it's real special.

// @kdfrawg

It's ten years old (or eleven, since the '17s are out). Hybrids depreciate like anything else1. Drive it till it falls apart, and don't worry about resale value.

  1. And people worry about battery replacement in a 10-year-old hybrid, so that depresses the resale value also

What kind do you have?

Here's my boring home screen on my work phone:

I'm seriously considering it when my iPhone is up for replacement next year. I use more Google services than Apple services anyway. Come to think of it, I don't use any Apple services except for iMessage.
