Finale episode of The Americans ranks up there with the finale of Breaking Bad as one of the best in TV history. Brilliantly written and performed, and achingly melancholy in the end. Bravo. #TheAmericans

Were I the vendor, I'd say, "I have no idea why your bosses made those decisions, nor do I have any way of knowing. You might want to ask them." And then I'd let my own boss know what the client's marketing dweebs were doing, and let him/her escalate it to the appropriate level with the client. And then I'd bill my time to the project, and go home.

By "their bosses," do you mean the vendor's bosses, or the marketing nozzles' bosses?

That's the thing--employees are not responsible for their bosses' actions. Bosses are responsible for their employees' actions. Don't like the decision my boss made? Feel free to escalate it to the next level. Not in my job description.

There's always the brutal honesty option.

If a vendor said that to me, I'd tell them that demanding answers from my boss is not my job, and that if they're feeling lucky, they're welcome to try, but I need to get some popcorn first before the show starts.

Makes sense.

You have a lovely home. I like the orchids. :-)

Confirming that they both work on my site. But there's no way to view which posts have been starred.

Hopefully you're on the ground, not in the ground.
