@JeremyCherfas If nobody paid for Android apps, there wouldn’t be any. Nor would the Google Play Store exist. That’s a tired argument.
I've disabled Micro.blog crossposting for now. I don't think it's going to be worth my time for a while.
Anybody remember another social network that didn't want to be a social network, even though that's what the paying users were told they were getting?
I do believe that rings a bell…
@phoneboy Yes, I've heard about El Al and their security procedures. I've had invasive medical procedures that were less probing.

@tewha On a positive note, it gives them time to make sure the elevators are really clean.
@tewha As I just said over there: I quite understand needing to focus in the early days, but if MB is going to be anything significant, it needs a broader base. I'm trying to support it by using it, but it isn't really usable right now as anything more than a curiosity since I'm completely out of the Apple ecosystem. It certainly isn't a feasible replacement for Twitter or even Mastodon. Maybe that's OK with the owners, maybe it's not , but it's the reality.
I love my 2013 Jetta. Judging from this review of the new 2019 model, I'm glad mine has the old 2.5-liter five-cylinder.
