@kdfrawg I have a huge Wenger GMT that I never wear because it's so big and heavy. They're great if you have the wrists for it, but it just looks a bit silly on me.

@peemee I'm resisting the smartwatch trend. There's something I find comforting about a mechanical watch without a battery. Just gears and levers and springs.

@kdfrawg I've seen it referred to variously as a field watch, a military watch, and a "Flieger." I think the last one seems the most fitting.
