Besides, it's an ex-rental with almost 113,000 km on it. They said the rear brakes looked original, so I'm not surprised. Fronts were probably replaced already, since they take more of the load.

Yep. Old pads didn't give much warning when they wore down, and the right rear got grooved.

Came out to $413.56 for both rear brakes (pads and rotors) plus a full synthetic oil change. Not too bad.
