I've got these ordered. I'm let you know how it goes. If they're as good as my Arizonas and Bostons (and they have the same footbed, so they should be), I'll be pleased.

You know, science predicts that if you go out in the rain you'll get wet. ?

Now why did autocarrot change damn to damm…

All I know is that it doesn't bother me when I'm wearing Birkenstocks. They're pricey and their closed styles aren't the most stylish shoes in the world, but they're cheaper than surgery and I'm too old to give a damm about fashion.

I've looked, but going barefoot tends to aggravate my Morton's neuroma, so anything that mimics that is probably not helpful. Growing up in southern California, I spent a lot of years in flip flops, cheap canvas sneakers, and just running around barefoot, but half a century down the road I'm paying the price. I'm also heavier than I was thirty years ago and diabetic, so that factors in as well. My feet never hurt in Birkenstocks, so I'll be sticking with them from now on.

Haven't heard of them, but will save that for when I need more socks. Thanks!

Wore my clogs to work today--figured I could get away with it on a Friday, when people dress more casually anyway (not that we're ever that dressed up). So nice being comfortable all day for a change.

Expensive, but worth it.

Had some time while people were wasting my time and not following the process, so I ordered another new pair of Birkenstocks (Maine) and a bunch of fancy socks from Pair of Thieves. I'll be very trendy from the calves down. Apologies to my Amex card.

I hope he was still able to bill the client for his time.
