@streakmachine Center-mounted instrumentation is a convenience for automakers, who are relieved of the need to design for both left- and right-hand drive. However, it requires the driver to take his eyes off the road for longer (just a few milliseconds, but at 100 km/h and up that matters). Also, putting everything on one screen is asking for trouble when that one screen dies (just one loose wire, and…). There's a reason that aircraft with electronic instrumentation don't do that.

I'll just say it: this is a dumb decision.
