Pleasant surprise for a Friday: Got the booklet for open enrollment in our new insurance plan at work, and the premiums/deductibles aren't too much higher than they were this year. Coverage is about the same. Yay!
@matigo I voted a straight Democratic ticket, and for the California ballot propositions as indicated in my recent blog post. :-P
Finally got my ballot dropped off at the county. I’ve done my part. Now its up to the good sense of the American people.
Oh, crap.
@matigo I'm actually happy with it the way it is right now. I don't need a photo of me announcing a new blog post. If this change was made and it wasn't optional, I'd probably just turn off posting to Twitter and do it manually, which I'd rather not have to do.

@matigo Do it if you want to, but I really don't care. Assuming that stock photo is chosen per the metadata, I can see all kinds of potential for something that I don't want or that isn't appropriate.

@matigo With only 140 characters to work with, there wouldn't be much summary space available anyway--and who would write the summary? I'm fine with how it is.
@matigo I'm perfectly happy with how my blog posts appear in Twitter. Title, URL, that's all I need.
