Yeah, but a typical summer day in Ventura is gray and foggy, much like San Francisco. My timing sucks.

Why is it that every time I have to get my eyes dilated, it's a bright, sunny day?

For those of you who are not from SoCal, here's what locals think of when we think of Mojave.

When I was 32, I had just quit my job, had no income, no relationship, no degree, and was living in a spare bedroom at my mom's house. In the next five years, I went to school, met my wife, and got a B.A. in history.

Today I'm still married, have a job, a house, a mortgage, and credit card bills--the American dream. ;-)

It ain't over yet.

Nobody is successful all on their own--we all get through life with help from other people. Sometimes it's friends, sometimes it's family, and sometimes it's people we've never met who want to help. You need not feel bad about it.

That's half of what I just spent on the car I just bought. It's not that much.

Off to meet the new boss (not the same as the old boss).

If you're gonna do a GoFundMe for a BMW, at least make it an M1.
