@matigo This is the third time I've seen one on the road--I saw another silver one on the San Diego Freeway in West L.A. several years ago, which was probably the one that belongs to the Petersen Automotive Museum, and a black one in Ventura a couple years before that. I saw the black one the same week that I saw the Airship Ventures Zeppelin flying overhead on its way to L.A., which gave that week a 1930s vibe.
It's not every day that one gets to see a prewar, rear-engined, air-cooled, dorsal-finned V-8 sedan built in Czechoslovakia gliding down US Highway 101 near my house. Specifically, one of my favorites: a Tatra T87. And my wife got photos. 😁
I have just successfully assembled a desk chair using only an Allen wrench and profanity.
