@phoneboy This thread reminds me that sometime I need to write up a blog post on the multi-day Fastmail outage in 2006 that drove me off the service.

Now that all my custom pages have been restored to my blog, I'm appreciating how much easier it is to edit them in v5 than it was in v4. No need to trawl through the clunky admin interface any longer. Props to @matigo for that.
@hazardwarning I'm sure it will. I have some pieces from IKEA that I bought 30 years ago, strictly because they were inexpensive but looked nice. I never in my wildest imagination thought I'd still have them after all this time. But in the intervening years, I got married and my wife likes them, so now I can never replace them. ;-)

@hazardwarning A brace is a brace, wooden or otherwise. We needed some extra shelving for a reasonable price, and this seemed a better option than the unattractive metal stuff I was looking at from Target.

@matigo No instructions. It's a modular system (IVAR), so you mix and match the individual parts for whatever configuration you want. I added extra shelves and an extra crossbrace for stability. I've assembled a lot of IKEA products over the years, so it was no big deal. Apart from needing to use my cordless drill to install the braces, no tools were required, not even an Allen wrench.
