@kdfrawg Took me a few months. I still test in the morning, but since I don't take insulin, there's really very little point to sticking myself multiple times a day since my diet is mostly stable and I know how my body will react to most things.

Here in SoCal, when I was in high school, the Mexican powerhouse was XETRA in Tijuana, known here as XTRA-AM, "the Mighty 690." Now they use different call letters, though.

@kdfrawg It's really quite nuts. There are domains where some subdomains work and others don't. I really hope this changes once we're out from under the IT umbrella of our former owners.

@kdfrawg Most of my DXing has been on shortwave or the AM band. On AM, I used to listen to KSL in Salt Lake City and KOA in Denver not infrequently. God bless clear-channel (as opposed to Clear Channel) stations. :-)

Twice a year at the Strawberry Music Festival at Camp Mather outside Yosemite, the organizers set up a low-power pirate station called "Hog Ranch Radio" which is an obvious tribute to KPIG. :-)

There's a conference room in one of our offices that has glass walls on three sides. Makes it almost impossible to hear anything the way the sound waves bounce around.

Drives me crazy when I have to be on a conference call. ;-)

Probably high, but I don't eat like that all the time so I don't worry about it. My fasting sugar the next morning was 107. I don't test as much as I used to, since I've figured out how my body reacts to various foods.

I had Sapporo Ichiban ramen for lunch on Wednesday. Tasty!
