While the heart of Paris was burning, so was the third-holiest site in Islam. What an utterly horrible day. My profound condolences to my Muslim friends.

I was there 38 years ago this July. Glad I saw it when I did.

One more thing: I discovered today that when I'm logged in, it's utterly impossible to open a blog post in a new window. If I try, the URL changes to https: //larryanderson.org/?remember=Y before my eyes. Impossible to copy and paste the post-specific URL into an email if I want to share something, as it just opens the entire blog in a new window.

Edit: Never mind…I just figured out that I can do what I want if I open the post from the Archives menu. Would be nice to just right-click the title and be able to open it that way, though.

This is a tragedy not just for Catholics, not just for Paris, not just for France, but for the world.

Cool. I miss getting notifications.

Last time I flew to Quebec City, because I was traveling with someone who had to fly United because miles, it ended up being LAX-ORD-YYZ-YUL-YQB. The final flight into YQB was in a Dash 8 turboprop. I am never doing that again.

I know you've got more important stuff to fix first, but when things calm down, it would be really nice if there were a way to view a list of blog posts by title, either in chronological or reverse chronological order. I miss that from v4.
