@kdfrawg It's the same reason ADN failed. Those of us who made a go of it there (and here) are the ones who were willing to meet new people and form new social attachments. Most people want to follow famous people, talk to people they know in the physical world, and see cat pictures.

Also, presumably, even a decomposed body can be restored to wholeness by God, whereas a cremated body would not be…though if you believe in the omnipotence of God, that's a problematic position too.
