Any weak points that Enterprise had were more than compensated for by the fact it had Commander Shran. It also had the best alternate universe episode of any of the series.

I've also got a couple of the Farthing series waiting to be read, which are basically detective stories set in a Britain that came to an accommodation with Hitler in the 1940s. Look promising.
