Roughly the distance from Santa Barbara to San Francisco, in California terms. Not bad. Mostly on the motorway, I take it?

Indeed. I prefer landscape photos whenever possible.

Here's mine for today. Mt. Oyama seen from Kagikake-toge Pass in Japan, apparently.

Wow. We're having the seasonal Santa Ana winds1 that everybody hates, so maybe it has something to do with that.

  1. "There was a desert wind blowing that night. It was one of those hot dry Santa Anas that come down through the mountain passes and curl your hair and make your nerves jump and your skin itch. On nights like that every booze party ends in a fight. Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving knife and study their husbands' necks. Anything can happen. You can even get a full glass of beer at a cocktail lounge." --Raymond Chandler

Looks like there may be an AT&T outage, but their website is too dysfunctional to actually tell me anything. Don't have the patience to deal with it right now, so I guess I'll be resorting to using mobile data tonight.

Internet was down at the house when I left this morning. Still down after rebooting the modem. This isn't good.

Here you go:

This is valid for up to 10 uses for one week, so anyone else who wants to try it out can use it also. See you there!

//

Lots of ex-ADN folks there. Worth your while to check out. I can send you an invite if you like.

//

I've had two promotions in the last 3 years, so I'm doing OK in that department.

//

Oh, I'm not going anywhere. I've just been busy as hell at work for the last few weeks. I will admit that I've been pulled towards Appdot.net more recently as I get mentioned more often and get pulled into convos. And having an Android app available doesn't hurt any, either.
