Pro tip: if you're a vendor and you let your lawyers hold up a project over minutiae in the paperwork, you don't get to complain when we remove you from work on future projects, or reallocate your work on current projects to other vendors.

(This is day 2 of Monday, apparently.)

As they say, anything worth doing is worth doing well.

That can be fixed with wire cutters.

That's funny, because my mom's family are New Englanders, and they sure as hell do. ?

I will merely observe that my initial reference was about and a bag of pancakes. If you don't enjoy maple syrup on pancakes, I'm going to question your sanity. ?

Yeah, but this is the beer they use:

Well, you're Canadian. You've got the maple syrup required, I suppose. :-)

Because usually, it's the result of someone fscking with it. In this case, we're expecting a hot day (high of 31C), and someone apparently decided to fire it up early in the day and crank it down for good measure.

Gotta thaw 'em out first…

Today at the office:

  1. People are getting blocked from viewing our own sites on the Internet;
  2. The department head is being refused a Skype connection, so she can't join a conference call with her boss;
  3. The air conditioning is stuck on the Arctic Breeze setting, and if it gets any colder in here, I'm gonna ask if we can hang a side of beef in the conference room.

So, yeah, it's a Monday.
