@matigo Different issue. This one is in Michigan.
@matigo Unfortunately, that's not an option. I think she's confused, and it's not helping that we're in offices 3000 miles apart.
<looks at sixth email from someone not getting the concept>
Some people really are dumber than a box of rocks.

Apparently the hill my wife has chosen to die on is the absolute necessity of "locking" the screen door. Because when the roving bands of axe murderers come through the neighborhood, they'll see that insignificant bit of aluminum next to all that screen, and give up trying to break in. ?
Just sat through a videoconference conducted using a PowerPoint presentation as the outline, and the leader read EVERY. BLOODY. WORD. ON. EVERY. BLOODY. SLIDE.

I think I need to find the gin.
OK, this is fun. Got tired of waiting for IT, so I fired up the VPN (from inside the office) and now everything works.
Access to external websites and internal web applications just died again. Grrrrrrrr….
@tewha The straps I use generally fall into the following categories:
- Canvas straps (for summer and hot weather)
- Nylon straps, also known as NATO straps, for when I'm around water (the design is such that if a spring bar goes, the watch head stays put and doesn't get lost)
- Stainless steel bracelets (on a couple of watches, including the only one with an integral bracelet)
- Leather straps for cooler weather
Changing them can be kind of a pain, but spring bar tools help, and I've acquired several with quick-change built-in spring bars, which are the greatest invention since sliced bread.
