Three hours until the out-of-office autoresponder goes on. #Thanksgiving

@kdfrawg There is really no reason why a phone shouldn't walk you through the entire process with on-screen prompts. There's no excuse for that.

@kdfrawg One of the lovely things about setting up my Pixel was that it has a virtual SIM card for Project Fi. No messing about with SIM cards at all, just took a few seconds to set itself up and it was off to the races. (I have the option of putting in a physical SIM for another provider, and can switch between the two at will, though I don't plan to do so.)

//

@kdfrawg No, I do have my limits. A high school buddy spent a year in Tokyo intensively learning Japanese, and I'm convinced he's a masochist.

//

@kdfrawg I've always started fresh with a new phone. I always find out how many apps I don't use that way. :-)

I've studied German, French, Russian, and Esperanto, and German was the hardest.

@kdfrawg Congrats on the new shiny! :-)

Life in small-town California…

That's me on Fridays. Also on other days if I've forgotten to do laundry.

No, usually it's jeans and a polo shirt. You know, California business dress. :-P
