Freezing in the office this morning, and none of the office services staff can be found. Breaking out the emergency hoodie.

Yep. :-)

You're in a good place. My company gives me a $60 stipend towards my cell phone bill, so anything that gets my cell bill below that gives me free money. I'm signed up for Fi at the $50 level ($20 Fi access fee, plus 3 GB of data at $10 per GB), so even if I use all of that, I'm still ten bucks ahead. And right now, it looks like I'll be under it most of the time, which at my current pace means a $15 credit every month--effectively a $35 monthly mobile bill. Not bad at all.

Project Fi update: About midway into my first month, I am officially on track to save a metric buttload of money on my wireless bill.

(The "delayed usage" represents my first week or so on Fi, before the billing cycle officially started.)

I like big phones and I cannot lie… :-)

After using my Pixel 2 XL for a couple of weeks, my iPhone 6S feels tiny.

@kdfrawg No buttons, no ports. Just an undifferentiated slab of glass that emits a soft glow, and which seems to watch you, quietly and unfathomably, as you move around the room.
