@kdfrawg Next thing you know, they'll move the power port to the side, too.

@kdfrawg Still not sure why they moved it. It was a perfectly cromulent location.

@kdfrawg That's one thing they got right on my Pixel. No danger of turning the phone off while adjusting the volume.

Well, they're not wrong. :-)

All in the same @#$%ing location, please. (It's been one of those days…)

There should be an international treaty, or, failing that, a constitutional amendment, that requires all mobile phones to put the volume rockers and the power button in the same damn place. SO SAY WE ALL

@kdfrawg Mescal is probably more fun, but I don't think Aetna will pay for it. :-)

@kdfrawg When used as an anesthetic, you are aware of what's going on around you, but you really don't care. It's as if you are a disinterested observer within your own body.

@kdfrawg The last time I had a tooth extracted, they used nitrous oxide as the anesthetic. I'm glad that they did, because the root was curved at the end, and the oral surgeon had to use a surgical saw to cut into my jawbone in order to extract the tooth. The sound it made was interesting. That's generally how my dental procedures go--with unexpected twists and great difficulty. As the song goes, "I wanna be sedated." :-)

@kdfrawg I love local anesthesia almost as much as I love general anesthesia. Anything that stops me from feeling that unique and oh-so-delightful sensation when the high-speed drill penetrates through the layers of enamel and dentin and makes contact with the nerve in the tooth is worth any temporary numbing in the surrounding area.
