@kdfrawg I will be either relieved or massively depressed, depending on the result. I will not be ecstatic no matter who wins.

@kdfrawg This campaign and election cannot be over soon enough to suit me.

Looks like long links don't stay within the lines in conversation view.

@kdfrawg I'm sorry to hear that. Such a senseless waste.

It's hard on everyone--you, your mom, and your dad. I sometimes think modern medicine, which keeps us alive longer, is a double-edged sword. Hugs…

After seeing what's happened with my MIL, who's 97 and has outlived her siblings, her friends, and her money (not to mention suffering the effects of dementia), I devoutly hope to die before I get that bad.

Good idea, but that just allows her to call for help after disaster strikes. Better to prevent it in the first place, but that's a damn tough conversation to have, I know.

My mom just got one all on her own, without prompting from me. I was proud of her for that.

This is amazing and cool. If we don't send people out there to see it first-hand, we might as well pack it in as a species.

The real danger is to your mother. What if she tries to help him, or he falls on her and she can't call for help?
