That sounds exactly like what my aunt's situation was when my uncle was near the end. It's a rough place to be. He clearly needs to be somewhere where he can be properly taken care of. Being at home at this point is dangerous.

My strategy has been:

  • Under-promise
  • Over-deliver
  • Try to be seen as helping to make their project better rather than being the guy who tells them what can't be done

It's a tricky balance when my job is basically to tell people what they did wrong.

I've worked on a project or two like that. Fortunately, my boss has my back. Brutal.

This is where you document everything for your own protection down the line.

@kdfrawg One of the reasons I keep a blog on Posthaven is because I can write my blog posts in any email client. Don't need anything fancier than that.

OK, I'll give that a shot.

  • Item 3

How are you getting the unordered list to look right? Nothing I try seems to work.

Thanks!

Currently reading the latest Daniel Silva novel. There's a reference in it to CIA Headquarters, officially called the George Bush Center for Intelligence.

If there's anything more ironic than that, I don't know what it is.
