@phoneboy Just throwing this out there: What if it showed the total count, but changed color from red to green when all posts were read?

@matigo Basically you clicked an "add comment" to reply, and clicking the "view comments" link led to a view with the original comment up top and comments (replies) below. Only thing I'd add would be nested comments, but it was still better than anything Twitter has ever done.

@matigo Minus the horizontal scrolling, that sounds very similar to how Jaiku did it back in the day, which I always liked. I liked Jaiku better than Twitter, but then Google bought it and let it wither before killing it so they could make Google Buzz. Ugh.
