Be my guest. ?

Today is going to be a day of trying to get work done while keeping one eye on the news from London. Watching the Brexit news is a lot like watching the news from Washington lately--hard to believe that so many people are willing to be so completely idiotic/duplicitous/evil (pick one).

The last big RIF we had, they did the exit interviews in the conference room just off the reception area. The conference room with glass walls. The receptionist (a friend) was horrified.

At this point, I've been through so many RIFs (as well as a couple of ownership changes) that I don't stress too much. We're owned by a private investment group now, and we all understand what that means.

Something is up at the office. People coming in from out of town. HR guy is walking around in a suit (he's normally a polo shirt-and-jeans guy). Hmmm.

If you can sell cars for a quarter of a million dollars each and still be unprofitable, you shouldn't be in the business.

Depends on the brand. ;-)

Almost wrote a blog post today. Then I thought better of it, and closed the window.

The weekend is almost here. Screw everything else.
