Your facepalm moment for today: a merchant in the UK chose to ship a package to my post office box via DHL.

Have I mentioned lately how much I hate filling out my annual performance review?

Well, that.

On today's calendar: spend four and a half hours in a mandated workshop that will ostensibly identify my "interaction style."

I hate trendy management woo-woo BS.

Looks quiet here.

Looks quiet here.

I'm pretty sure the only thing less useful than USPS tracking might (only might, I hasten to add) be breasts on a bull.

If there's anything less useful than USPS tracking, I haven't found it yet.

Somewhere in the annals of country music, there's probably a song about getting out of Nashville just in the nick of time. I'm thinking Jerry Reed. might have an opinion about that. :-)

<HUG>

I hear you. I think we're both having lives, and there's nothin' wrong with that. :-)

Be well!

Yes, I know; I follow you there. :-)

I spend a lot less time on social media these days, partly because most of it is a dumpster fire, part of it because I've gotten really busy at work. I'm most often on the ADN Mastodon instance, Appdot.net, since it's a nice insulated bubble of people I like, and most of my online friends are there. I've all but abandoned Twitter, except for breaking news--it was very useful during the fires out here last month. Facebook I check maybe once a week, if that. I check in here as often as I can, but this has always been a quieter place.

Otherwise, I spend time indulging my watch-collecting hobby over at the forums at watchuseek.com (username larand), plus a watch-oriented Instagram account at vta_watch, and…that's about it, really.
