@matigo My mother's family tends to cremate, whereas my dad's family usually does the traditional thing. Can't say I'm bothered either way. My mom has specified that she is to be cremated after any useful organs have been harvested, and that makes a lot of sense to me.
@matigo If you can, it would be smart. I imagine that it's even more expensive in Japan, since everything is more expensive in Japan.
@matigo Yep. She was born in the horse and buggy era, and lived to see manned lunar expeditions.
Just realized today would have been my grandmother's 121st birthday (born in 1897).
